I respond to this with a good ol' 'LAWL'

'may replace x with Blood Talons for free.'

I don't think BA are OP at all, I just think this whole 'cost' argument isn't really valid.

And lose the abiltiy to hurt Iron clads / SOulgrinders *at all* when in CC and lose the abilty to properly hurt normal dreadnoughts. And 1 weapon destroyed means you lose the funky ability.

Nope, cant see how BA arent paying for that - or did you make the mistake of assuming that "paying" meant only in points?

Actually they're a pair. Need to take them both out.

The good thing about about it is that Libby dreads can't take them or they would be seriously broken.
No, instead Libby Dreads get to WoS into a Chunky Trygon and Force Weapon it to death. Omnomnomnom!

Try again. Both talons need to be functional in order to get the additional attacks. Otherwise, it's just a lightning claw.

That would take two player turns, as a Librarian Dreadnought can only use one power each player turn. The Wings of Sanguinius would get the Librarian Dreadnought the assault, and while doing a few wounds to the Trygon, its A6 S6+2D6 attacks would tear it apart. A Furioso with Blood Talons would have a better chance of killing it, but it would still be a suicide mission.
