I don't care what anyone makes with their own money and time, I'm just here to say whether nor not your idea fits well with preexisting 40k fluff "facts". And as long as you make a viable explanation for what you do, you can fit anything in 40k fluff. Just make an explanation other than "theres no reason that marines wouldn't use valks omg why so serious".

This. Make some edits to the valk as it will be chaosed and make it like an AC-130. It must be mounted on the stand at an angle as suck it is going into a firing bank. That will be epic.

Yeah,I had no clue about the battlecannon. It was sort of just an afterthought.

I might do a battlecannon,but all the models it comes on are expensive (defiler,leman russes,vindicator[looks close enough,right?]) and I'm on a strict budget for now

I might just opt for some missiles. They always look cool. Any suggestion for where to find some smexy missles? They have to be pretty big (larger than havoc missles)...

The Valk comes with 2 missiles.

Just grab the Apoc Data sheet for the Valkyrie formation that was in WD, just after the guard codex came out.. Apoc lets Chaos take any Imp datasheet..

(it also lets you stuff a t-hawk with ponies..)

And I totally forgot the valk already comes with missiles. I thought the missiles were FW only for some reason...

You could also gear it up as the Vendetta variant with the punisher gatling lasers if the battle cannon doesnt work out ^_^

Gatling guns make everything cooler >-E

I was even considering the Exorcist missile for a while, but I'll just use the same "d6 attacks" principle for whatever I decide upon.....I'll post another thread when I finally get around to buying a valkyrie. Thanks for your wise debating,er...assistance!

I know a guy that has his "Traitor Guard" army with his CSM counting as GKs as some sort of uber-Chosen. It's actually very awesome.

Vendettas full of "CSM" are everywhere and it's extremely badass. The great thing about fluff is that you're encouraged by GW to make up your own for your army as you see fit.
