Wasn't there a rumor earlier this year about a Chaos themed scenery kit from GW?

Those look to be the force pylons that you can take as a strategic asset in planetstrike games. Cool that they'll make them in plastic, and cool that they are tall enough to block in tall creatures.

Huh? Since when was an appearance in a photo proof of a new product? I'm not sure how they work at the studio but I would assume they have a custom shop for their CAD designs. I don't see why they'd release them as they have just had a set of purely fluff terrain pieces. By purely fluff I mean thing's that are more ornamental like statues as opposed to buildings.
I could imagine Forgeworld making items that big to create a force field that force flyers to go up and not through, possibly with an objective to control it so your flyers can go through it. Alternatively something that stops titans movement although I doubt it would effect their gun range so that wouldn't be a massive problem.

Well the imperial bastion was in the BGB, and then it became an official product, such as the marine statues in planet strike. I guess only time will tell if it is a new terrain piece or just a kit bash.

They had moulds for this Tau building, but they didn't release it:
A collection of unreleased GW terrain can be found here:
http://www.collecting-citadel-miniatures.com/wiki/index.php/Scenery_%26_Terrain_-_Unreleased
And it isn't even complete. Anyone remembers the prototype sprue for CoD buildings that is featured in every second GW city diorama because it is cool but was never released

Pity too... I'd spend some silly money on a table's worth of Xenos (Tau or Eldar preferred) terrain!

Those force field things look like they have been made from the skulls on the skull temple with some cities of death stuff holding it together, I doubt its new terrain being released. Then again I could be wrong, its games workshop; they are a very fickle company.

I do so wish they'd release the original prototype Cities of Death frames. They were great.

Seconded.
Universal too, would be great for beefing up buildings.
