I'm having the most amazing fun hogtying(sp?) people.

In mexico I came across that bandit encounter where the woman asks for help, then you get ambushed.

So I kill the bandits, then hogtie the woman.

... and then drop her off the cliffs by Torquemada.



You had to be there to appreciate it.

I've heard this is a great game but I'm waitting for Crackdown 2 and Starcraft 2.
But IT matters what do you want. Because PS3 has the best online service ever. No lag. but it does overheat some times. I say get it for PS3

What was your experience with the game, Alpharius?

I am still feeling it out myself, having only played it about four hours or so.

The single player game is great. Fun to play and really great story. The online multiplayer though.. just not my thing. I found it really dull.

that said, I spent a solid week playing the single player game, it's really long and really good. You can even drag it out longer if you do a lot of side missions or decide to spend your evening playing poker or something.

I absolutely hate Horeshoes

Its a great game. Good story and a great multiplayer that will keep you entertained for a long. Buy it

Holy freaking crap, the lighting is so much better on the PS3 than the 360. I am not even joking. Half the time at night I cannot see a goddamn thing.

Ugh, I know. Otherwise it's pretty much the same, but playing at night is such a pain in the arse.

Did you check the brightness of your tv, I have it on 360 and have no trouble killing people late at night at range.

That is a very discussable statement....and I own a 360.

I think the newly released XBox is the only one that can actually claim true competition, I can't believe it took that long to add wifi standard.

My thoughts:
RDR is good fun, especially if you enjoy just roaming around rather than moving constantly from mission to mission (though you can do that too), although given that Alph posted this thread 2 months ago it may be a bit irrelevant by now
