I feel for you. The Order of Our Martyred Lady is basically GW's bitch, constantly being killed off in some manner or other across the galaxy, losing hundreds or thousands of Sisters at a time.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

I guess they are a "self fullfilling" Order with that name, then..

My SoBs are part of the Order of St Ursula.. but most of their vehicles and holy tomes are named for male demi-gods from their home world..

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

Order of St Ursula (Sisters of Battle): W-2, L-1, T-1
Get of Freki (Space Wolves): W-3, L-1, T-1
Hive Fleet Portentosa (Nids/Stealers): W-6, L-4, T-0
Omega Marines (vanilla Space Marine): W-1, L-6, T-2
Waagh Magshak (Orks): W-4, L-0, T-1
A.V.P.D.W.: W-0, L-2, T-0

Mine are the Order of the Sapphire Blade. They're descended from a shrine of Order of the Ebon Shroud, but changed their name after an ancient power sword STC was found on their shrine world. Now they guard said STC, and every fighting body is needed to do so-- the shrine world is to the galactic north of the Maelstrom warp storm, and they need to cooperate with Guard and Skitanii over its defense to repel Orks, Chaos, and so on from taking the STC for themselves. Even the occasional loyalist forces that think they can use the STC for their own good better.

The STC requires rare materials, so they aren't able to make THAT many... but obviously it's important enough that the Order, Guard, and Skitanii have a decent amount of resources to use to protect both the shrine world and the moon-turned-forgeworld from the various raiders. The Order occasionally goes on crusades into nearby systems to clear them of Chaos worshippers or Orks, or to support nearby settlements to ensure raw materials and etc are easier to deliver.

word, i think quite a bit can be done with SoB and they def have fluff potential thou it might not be seen in GW works.

you could also prob look into the Sisters of Silence which isnt SoB but could easily be a count as army and i think they seem to be very cool
