I believe that only applies to when you are reduced to 50% of your army and you just happen to have a vehicle left. Not 100% positive though.

Yea that is true about the lootas and I've never known an ork player make bad rolls so it could possibly make them even better. I didn't think about the ironclad good call on that another one could be BA librarian dreadnoughts.
