His tactical genius is a special character rule in 40K. It does not apply to football.
If you would like to suggest a different team to Man U you could make a new thread.

That's why the Blood Angles and everyone else would not win by killing everyone, because they wouldn't be playing football.
You can't win a game you aren't playing.
You most definitely can win a game you aren't playing.

The next one of you that posts about Wraiths being I2 and ignores the whip coils mentioned 2000 times a week, and I am going to devote the rest of my life to becoming an ancient space god to trick and enslave a race, and turn them into soulless T-100s to rid the entire universe of life. At that point it will have been worth it. |

Arjac would make a good goalie, considering all the practise he gets using his shield to block and throwing his hammer he'd be good at stopping balls and have a decent throw.
Njal would probably make a good defender as after he's turned his goal into a maelstrom of rain and snow it would be hard for the opposing team to get any traction or get any goals.
Any librarian with "the gate" power would be quite useful I'd imagine.

OK, Creed wins, now we play another game in which he isn't allowed to use his 40K rules, because that is what we are interested in the result of.
Who are the players in this second game?

If Creed can conceal an Imperator behind enemy lines, I'm sure he can manage to move around a football pitch without being noticed.

Of course he can. That's why he wins 10 games in a row, if you like, and then we decide to have a game he doesn't win, to see what might happen, because it is a lot more interesting to play a game where the result isn't know in advance.

Great up front, since he is a complete psycho with strength that puts all characters so far to shame.
But Mephiston is not an IC, so he would not be able to join up with the rest of the squad.
He is the W40K equivalent of the Dutch at every single World Cup.

BAHHH blood angels suck. Wayne Rooney has the red thirst at all times. Just get on his bad side and he'll kick your shins so hard your precious blood angel will truly sucumb to the black and blue rage.
Now I can see Nani being nimble enough to bob and weave between anything the imperials try and throw at him. Space marines are to large and slow for soccer.
Man-U wins 3-0

Well, thats debatable. And by debatable I mean wrong.
Also, we already know how brutal American Football is in the Warhammer universe (see: Blood Bowl), so putting 40k characters in a Football match would be like putting 11 children (man U) in a meat grinder.
