I don't really see any reason why the BAs should have lost this one.
Oh, and take some death company. Lots of them. Rather than a few crappy missle launchers, take a bunch of powerfists on death company. No fnp from that, and with Lemartes you can reroll it!
Lemartes is a beast himself after taking a wound. Like 7 S6 attacks, re-rolling everything? Pretty sick. And the Swarmlord can't single him out, so he pretty much takes that in the face.
Chalk it up to inexperience. This is the first time I've played as the new Blood Angels. Also, besides my tyranids, I normally play mech whenever I play the Imperium. Thus, I am not that experienced with a foot
MEQ army as well. I was trying to build a wall of terminators to protect my forces from any outflanking/dormant genestealers. Compound that with the fact that I underestimated his buffed-up genes and you see the result there.
Don't worry. I'll do much better the next time I use my
BA. I now have the experience of 1 game under my belt.
I'm also considering
DC, but for my first battle, I just used what I had so far. In the future you may see
DC+Lemartes in a land raider in my army.
