I'm sure the North Koreans are celebrating their triumph over (ie not getting stomped by) Brazil.

Are you being sarcastic or do you not know the score?.

Of course I do. They were celebrating their 6-0 victory in Pyongyang last night thanks to a double hat trick from their glorious leader Kim Jong Il!

The best part is... you know thats what they told everyone. fething wierdos. I hope South Korea goes all kinds of medieval on their ass.

To the darkness I bring fire. To the ignorant I bring faith. Those who welcome these gifts may live, but I will visit naught but death and eternal damnation on those who refuse them.

Football fans in North Korea will have to wait until today to see any action from their 2-1 loss to Brazil. While the match was on, they were treated to the delights of Echo of Mountain, a comedy based on farmers' attempts to boost grain output. (Daily Telegraph)

..that might have been better than the first half anyway.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Having been heavily involved in many different sports for the past 15 years I can tell you with great certainty that, as far as athletics are concerned, it very much is not. Self motivation will get most people to their basic limits, but very few people are capable of pushing those limits without some form of moral support or collective motivation.

I agree it helps, it can make a great combo, but it isn't as singularly important as self motivation.

No one quits smoking or drinking without a self determining desire to quit.
Micheal Jordan didn't become great because he was pushed, he did it cause he was the first in the gym and the last one out, because he wanted to be the best.

You'd quite smoking if I told you your son will die next time you have a puff >

But anyways... Whysoserious? Did a humorous rooting for the underdog coupled with a few jokes trigger your PILLAR OF FREEDOM chip?

Are you being sarcastic or do you not know the score?

Have you seen Rocky or how the Cold War turned out?

Or the state of Cuba, Russia, and North Korea in general?

Self motivation is the greatest motivation.

Fear will keep you alive. Love will make you glad you are.

Don't forget, fear will keep the systems in line. Fear of this station.

After seeing this I couldn't help but wonder how anyone could NOT support North Korea:

They're just like the underdog team in an American movie! A bunch of poor guys who band together to beat the professional teams and get a golden trophy they can melt down to fund their sick grandmother's healthcare/nuclear weapons programme!

So how is the weiner dog "howling at the moon for master" going? You know the thing where you have your dogs trained to howl whenever you get a good dice roll?

Beats weiners peeing on my leg. You don't snap to it and throw the ball, TBone will make you pay. That dog's some serious kind of donkey-cave. Yes!
