Lakers playof win.

excellent. You can't have an LA team win something without a riot and at least 13 people shot.

I thought that was called 'Tuesday'?

Good point.

I remember my first week in LA and they noted the weekend body count was slightly higher than normal AT 18. A distinctly WTF moment.
And now to test the new icon, just because I can.

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

Why so QQ?

It's soccer, for pity's sake.

That's like crying because we're not world-class Curlers.

Don't you mean soccer?

You don't play football with your foot.

Yeah 'American Football' seems to suffer from the Elephant in the room syndrome more than most other sports.

Although English football should be more accurately defined as 'feigning-injury-ball'.......

players seem to forget that it ain't just the ref watching but their antics are viewed from an infinite number of camera angles which get replayed in slow motion.

They may con the ref, but it just shows up the slimey cheating for what they are.

And the fact that there are hardly any consequences to their actions makes them want to do it more. In fact I have heard the Italians actually cultivate this behavior as part of their strategy, and quite frankly as long as FIFA does nothing to curb it, they are tacitly approving the behavior.

The Italian league is notorious for the amount of acting. It's just the way they play over there.

If people want it stamped out they need to keep writing to FIFA to complain about it, until instant camera review of fouls is mandatory.

It will slow down play though.

There is something to be said for the ref making a quick decision, even if he is often wrong. It should even out in the end, when he makes a wrong decision against the Italians.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Wait...I thought the Lakers played in Los Angeles, not Detroit.
