Well, I don't think it should matter. Seeing as Broadsides are infantry models, LoS should be measured from the models head (supposedly where sighting and measuring equipment is on Tau battlesuits). And, also, range from infantry models should be measured from the edge of the base. Measuring LoS and range from the barrel of a weapon is only necessary on vehicles. I would certainly not use it against you in game, because range and LoS are supposed to be measured to the body of the model (i.e. If I saw the barrel of the railgun sticking out from behind a building, but could not see the model itself, then I would say that I could not shoot at it because, in this case, anything metal would not be considered part of the models "body".)

If Warhammer has taught me anything, it is that anything and everything can be solved by violence.

I might just put two heads on my models, so I have a 360 degree firing arc...

I believe your own model doesn't count, so would you just look (through) around your model?

I think if anything, the way it is modeled would be a disadvantage. Since the model is so large hiding it would be a problem, but then again i dont think hiding a broadside is a good idea in the first place.

On an unrelated note, i thoroughly enjoy the modeling.
