I've got 2 tattoos but no 40k in the near future. I've thought about it but this is somethingI am going to have to live with the rest of my life and not regret... that is the big thing with tattoos.

The black rage is within us all. Lies offer no shield against the inevitable. You speak of donning the black of duty for the red of brotherhood; but it is the black of rage you shall wear when the darkness comes for you.

She tried, John Blanche liked it, but it was not what they were looking for, we figured not enough spikes :-)

Very nice Druidic. Complements to the wife. I have no Gw stuff. I have text from Marcus Aurelius scrawled across my chest and a skeletal pirate with a buxom pirate wench sitting on his lap on my shoulder. So I may not be the person to ask but "A mind without purpose will wander in dark places" does sound good.

Screw that! People think you're uber-though because they believe even getting a tattoo on your arm equals a razor bladed enema self administration!

They stay alive because Japanese people love seeing a rainbow's assortment of hair colours, people with animal ears, wings, or tails, clothes that even a blind guy wouldn't wear, and cookie-cutter angsty teenage-hero characters that all have some life-shattering unique, heartfelt sad soppy story.

Likewise, many people in the West are slowed to some degree, and they think that the storylines and characters are actually of a decent quality. Generally, these people are in the 12-16 bracket and/or are the same crowd that think the Twilight movies are the best films ever produced/books ever written.

@shaman: That bloody handprint chaos symbol you have a picture of is awesome!

@druidic: That picture your wife drew is also awesome. I know what you mean about finding someone to do it justice, though. It could be a pain in the ass to find someone who can handle all that detail.

Ive been planning on getting an Ork Glyph. Thats probably the only GW tat Id ever get. And itd most likely be on my forearm somewhere. I like my tats being visable. Hell Ive got my zodiac on my hand for christ sakes. Now let me tell you, that area between your thumb and pointer finger, is some painful skin to get a tattoo on.

I am almost completely covered now (Except for my elbows to wrists... silly dress codes!)

Here are the only 4 I have pictures for. These are all from when I'm 18. I've had them for 3+ years now, and I still love them. Each one has a emotional meaning for me, even though they are or look like they are from 40k.

Nope. I'd kinda like to get one, but I don't know what. Even then, chances are it would not be anything 40k or even GW.

I must say, after working at GW, then wanting to emblazon my body with something that is theirs doesn't really appeal to me lol

But if I could come up with a great idea that incorporated an idea of either Dark Angels or Dark Eldar, then that would be alright. But it would have to actually mean something to me, and not just make me look like I've been marked by an ex-employer lol

I have "Marneus Calgar" tattooed in a circle right below my anal cavity. Every time I take a dump I say, "Hey Marneus, roll a cover save, you dirtbag!"

he always fails.

Furthermore, I would not recommend getting a tattoo in the anus. It is actually extremely excruciatingly painful. In Romo We Trust.

i have a fairly large phoenix and some words covering the top of my back...
as of now it is only the outline//wording (color appointment is in 2 days!) is done, but just that hurt more than any other ink ive gotten...
im anxiously awaiting and dreading getting it colored...

i would like to get warhammer ink, im thinking an aquila on my left arm and a mechanicus skull on my right, simple flat black symbols right below the inside of my elbow on my forearm...
failing that, i would get a full detail//color deathwing symbol, with the sword and wings and all

but on the note of gaming tattoos, i do have 2 tattoos from diablo 2, one on each ankle...
it is more of a friendship thing than a video game thing (2 of my buds got them the same time, one on his chest the other on his back), but i love what they mean in both ways
+100 internets to who ever can tell me the name of the symbols and what they mean!

The first is a Zod rune which adds indestructible to any item. I think the second is Fal. Been a while since I played. IIRC there is no rune word that is just Zod and Fal, so I will go with the obvious and combine what they do:

Damn! I've always wanted to get a (non horus/ra) open eye in my left palm but always stopped short not so much in fear of pain but more about people telling me a hand tat fades away quickly due to skin changing a lot in that area .
Job issues do count minorly as well since my not so lightly tatooed right arm (from shoulder to forearm) is already a bit of an issue when I don t cover it up ( I still think most jobs that don t accept that can go suck it but I have experienced financial crisis as well so for now I will pretend to bow down to the pigs)

Well in some cases having obvious ludicrous tats would definitely stop you being employed (such as a teacher, or as a very formal person) mainly because it detracts from the whole point of the job. Now if the tats were covered, then that is different, and how much skin should a teacher be revealing to students? lol

Students regarded me as a sort of trim non pg 13 Jack Black since then

Also I think my tat fits my teacher posse since it spells "knowledge is power"
