Nice, I did that myself, infact, I specifically bought it just to do that, sadly I can't get any pictures.

One Idea I had, similar to your Hall of Heroes, was to get 20 of them, paint 18 of the up and GS them etc to represent the pre heresy legions and with the other 2 make them missing above the knees with only the barest trace of paint on them, as if they were weathered statues.

I think you should've painted the broken aquila as a "real" bird as well, seeing as you went for real colors for the statue.

In all seriousness tho, the statue looks a bit odd IMO, maybe some more paint cracking off it would help, it looks like a he-man toy or something stuck on a plinth at the moment.
