I also have plenty of experience handling my hot glue gun and have shot many loads with it when attempting to assemble other things so this should help. Thanks man.

Good man!!

Kolath wrote:Dang, superscenic! That is an awesome tutorial! How long did it take you to make the whole piece shown at the end of the tutorial?

The Whole piece took me about four days. This was while I was experimenting and changing methods along the way. It should be much quicker now.

The reason I only made one complete building for now is that I am making a scratch built and themed Tyranid army called "Warp fiends". These are warp beings crossed with Tyranids and are more chaotic and ethereal in appearance than regular Nids. Their buildings would be more like floating energy vortexes (transparent resin spirals) with volatile tarry tentacles. Also please check my gaming board in my sig for an idea of the surface I have been working on. I will likely make two more large buildings like this just to complete this as a set. Perhaps a Tyranid "fortress".

I hope some of you chaps will attempt a test spire. If you have ANY difficulty with messiness when using the glue gun, PM me for advice, it is easy with some tips. You will be pleasantly surprised at the speed.

Thank You
