termie army of doom mega im sure my mates plastastic sternguard or my mates leman russ executioner heavy list wont beat that. since not a lot of people are thinking reality or taking into account your playing humans and not just going "mephistons got a 2+ armour save hmmmm plasma, sorted"
it aint that easy and if it is where you play then its not us who are cack players i recomend not playing someone half your age

I play BA as well, and i use a Stormraven in my 1500 army with a TL Multi-melta and TL Assault cannon, best thing about this thing is i can flat out 24" and still Multi-melta the tanky

also the dudes inside are equipped with at least one melta bomb, i usually run vanguard vets inside, and a Furioso dread on the back with Dual Blood talons. I also use 2 razorbacks with TL assault cannons(assault troops inside with melta bomb/PF sarge) and dual mulit melta landspeeders, i imagine that this would help your chances.

This list has only 1 overpowered unit.you should remember that mephiston is afraid of lascannons and plasma guns 10 shots from plasma gun will kill him for sure. You should deal with him until it is too late try to kill him in 2 turns and never use your hq to deal with him. Only shooting can kill him fast.Use deffensive army against him.

Just went to get my rule book and codex to prove you wrong, and was amazed that by RAW you are correct, the Machine spirit rules say you may fire one more gun than normally allowed, and the fast vehicle rules only say you may not fire when moving flat out. Excellent spot.

Melta bombs not so reliable against moving tanks, dread will be ineffective with blood talons, hardly any infantry, troops are in reserve etc, razorbacks will die to las preds or even baals..... however you would stand a good chance as you have multiple threats, you would need first turn though, still looks a good list, what HQ do you take?

Zing Buddy. That's right I'm sure I heard about Haggis McSporran from Aberdeen winning the GT last year. Lol. Not.

Seriously though, Yes it's a tough army. Just dont play the game it wants you to. Threaten with your own units, force the Bloodsucking Rtard to hide or expose himself. Even a relatively poor army, well played can beat a well played well chosen army. Every army has the tools for the Job, dont be scared to take them. If this list is indicative of the meta game in your club/store then I'd sure as hell squeeze in every last High strength, Low AP gun that I could lay my grubby lil paws on.

And technically my opponents are 2/3 my age on average. Although I can forgive you the difference since it is usually only spasticated five year old that love to use Meffistun.

You actually make some half decent points here, it is a shame your use of insults and silly jokes detracts from a pretty insightful point.

Im sure that posting on a forum, where nobody knows you, and you do not have to deal with anyone face to face makes you feel pretty brave and clever, but IMO you are far from either.

I mean all you need is a Bloodthirster, a great unclean one, 5 feinds, 3 flamers, 4 juggers, 6 plaguebearers, 8 horrors, a daemon prince and a soul grinder.

Would have trouble against a horde, obviously, but not impossible to win against one, no. This would eat predspam for breakfast though.

A Bloodthirster will hardly inflict 5 wounds on Mephiston.
Mephiston can eventually instantly kill him when one of his attacks goes through.

I play many different lists from different codexes, I wouldn't take this to a tournament, no, but using it in a friendly game is fun and it performs better than you would expect from looking at the list. And as I said this list would destroy predspam, which was the OP question when he gave us a list and said make a 1500pt list to beat it.

MUHUHAHAHA, I lol'd hard . of Psy weapons (you know, the ones you need to pass a Psy test to activate). But as BFs got Eternal Warrior there is no point for Mephiston to even use his Insta-Gib effect. Psy weapons count as PWs with the mentioned Insta -Gib ability .You really should re-read the Blessing of the Blood God rules, they grand you a 2+ save against damage dealing psy-powers, including the Instant-Kill ability, your 2+ save does not work against the normal attacks. You'll have to use your normal 4++ save instead (so good night sweet prince if Mephi is angry)...

Dark it was, and dire of form
the beast that laid them low
Hrothgar's sharpened frost-forged blade
to deal a fatal blow
he stalked and hunted day and night
and came upon it's lair
With sword and shield Hrothgar fought
and earned the name of slayer

Reread your codex. pg 74 blessing of the blood god "...The daemon has aa 2+ invulnerable save against wounds caused by psychic powers or force weapons."

Seriously, if your gonna post stuff that is wrong then just dont post at all.

Cool down.
Why should Mephiston come across a Bloodthirster.
I'd shoot him to death at first sight.

I usually take a Librarian with honor guard. and yea meltabombs aren't great against tanks on the move, just use them against stationary tanks.

Ah great, but personally id go for powerfist over melta bombs, more attacks. Plus they have the added bonus of hurting M/Cs and instant killing most ICs

That is what the Librarians Force weapon is for, killing MC's and IC's, the melta bombs are there as a just in case, or if i have 5 points left. the 4 meltaguns usually take care of most vehicles.

Tweak it to suit your playstyle though.

Melta bombs are just an add-on when you have 5 or 10 pts left.
