Alright, you know what? I'm going to My FLGS on wendsday.

I'll ask the salesguy (There's no manager,AFAIK) if anyone lost it, and I'll hand it over. It's not like I need or want it, and if it'll get some people off my back, then great. Even if you guys still insist that I'm a thief, at least I can feel better about myself...Sheesh.

You told people in no uncertain terms that you stole something. That's both illegal and (in your case) immoral. You had to expect this reaction, unless stealing is the norm in your FLGS.

We shouldn't get off of your case, since you aren't even admitting what you did was wrong.

...Might as well be.. We get lots of strange people coming in, only to notice that several WIPs people are working on are stolen :(

It would be fair to mention that I'm not usually a thief, and that this the only 40k related theft I've had (although once a couple of guys convinced my to stick some slim-jims down the leg of my pants and walk out, which was rather funny in it's absurdity)

Just an observation from an objective person who is enjoying this thread immensely. And also wanted to get "in before the lock" as it were.

It's not that we don't like him, it is that what he did is wrong.

He still hasn't given a formal, felt apology, so we'll troll him until then. Tears and everything!

Or when he returns it, and forces the opponent to open a dakka account and tell us.
