He uses Dire Avengers with Dark Reapers, Howling Banshees, and Swooping Hawks with a couple APCs and a tank or two

The Death Masks aren't all that great. May get it work once or twice a game. Morale usually isn't that hard to pass.

I don't see a point in ever running more than 3. I like my elite spots for other things. I'm just glad I can take 3 for just one elite spot.

My reaction was to take said die, and hurl it out the window of the 3rd floor of our student union. I then placed a Commissar model next to the rest of my dice pile. They immediately began performing much better.

A few choices I have found that works very well with dealing with Eldar.

Librarian: Keep him cheap as you are bringing him for his Psychic Hood. I strongly suggest in a 10 man Assault Squad with a medic and give him a jump pack. Eldar get very annoyed when you mess with their psychic abilties as they rely on them a lot.

Dante: You want him for the surgical strike to get rid of the Farseer / Eldrad or any nasty vehicle. You will want an Honor Guard to go with him and I suggest giving the Honor Guard Jump Packs with 4 melta guns and 4 flamers ( yes you can give 2 special weapons per honor guard model ). The built in medic is icing on the cake that can't be singled out and your squad has hit and run. If possible I strongly suggest setting it up to execute the Farseer or Eldrad in tandem with shooting / assault by other units once you relieve him of their transport.

Asteroth: A great character in this match up as he basically negates fortune on Eldar who rely on their invulnerable saves, especially in seer council groups. His basic strength will insta kill any Farseer short of Eldrad. He also brings more chances at Red Thirst and brings all the bells and whistles of a chaplain for your assault troops.

If the Eldar is running full mech the best unit for the cost is a 5 man assault squad with a melta gun and a infernus pistol. DoA them behind the vehicles you wish to destroy, they are stellar at 125 points. This works well in tandem with Predators with x2 Las Can Sponsons + Auto Cannon Turrets to drop volume of fire to remove any of their long range vehicles

If the Eldar is running a foot Eldar list then the Baal Flamestorms just wreck them in mass with vindicators. A key block with the hood vs Fortune with some decent shooting can cripple if not secure a win for you as they rely on this so much.

Medic is truely the bread and butter for the Blood Angels and I strongly recommend giving them a power weapon. The charge will net you 4 attacks at str 5 with a WS of 5 and then 3 attacks every CC phase there after. In combination of a squad with another power weapon / fist and possibly a character then you will tear through units, quickly.. You really shouldn't need more then 3 of these per army.

Any rate I have rambled on long enough, hope this info may help you.

Thank you Borris. The advice is appreciated. Eldar and Nids are a true thorn in my side when I play and i need to tailor a strategy to take them out.
