potentially yes. but aslo potentially a guardsmen sergeant can kill a carnifex on a charge. things like that rarely happen. or if they do, it's because someone is completely bent on taking out that unit.

I disagree. A unit of nobz with three or four klaws can easily kill three vehicles in a squadron. Even if only one tank was in assault range.

Likewise, there are plenty of units capable of putting out enough firepower to kill more than one vehicle in a round of shooting (e.g. firedragons) but this is only possible for them against squadrons.

Against light vehicles like speeders or sentinels even a squad of bolters can kill more than one. If they're in a squadron.

Being in a squadron is a significant increase in vulnerability. When you factor in immobilised=destroyed it's even worse.
