I've traded with folks literally all over the world on Bartertown. Japan. Australia. Great Britain. Amsterdam. Canada. Spain. Even the wilds of Virginia!

So, yeah, BT's world-wide. Some folks aren't interested in trading internationally, though, and BT doesn't require it so check with the potential trader before you move too far.

I've had exactly one trade on Rogue Market. It went fine, but I've been using BT for almost 14 years now (First trade in September, 1996... Wow, I'm getting old!) and I'm afraid I'm not too likely to move now without a great reason. I've had over 50 trades on BT over the years with exactly one "bad" trade. But, as always, caveat emptor (or trador I guess in this case). I've only had a few trades on Dakka, but they've all gone fine.

Except when the person is an advertiser, then you're SOL

Yeah. SOL
First off, though we do out "bulldog best," we never make any actual promises to get involved into any sort of trade dispute or Bad Trader issues. What we do is because we care.
Also, someone's forgetting to mention that, when he had an issue I (personally) called the advertiser more times than I can count (or care to remember) on my own dime and time.
Bunker, I get that you're mad that I wouldn't give you his phone number. I'm a man of my word, though.
You should know, for whatever it's worth, that your incident caused a change in policy and that exception has been included in our promise. Also, the advertiser was banned for his behaviors.

BTW, didn't you end up getting that resolved?

Nobody gets a free pass on BTown. Nobody.
