"Headless Harriers for the Bloody Cup"?

Or is that too obscure?

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

I must agree with those that wonder why there is so much vitriol over this. GW says codexes and dice, so hey, good enough for me and my make believe game. While we are at it, as an American I tend to use 'American English'. Thus, it is 'demon'. I also refuse to use superfluous 'U's' in words like armor or color. Come on everyone, let's get over this and move on to a topic of discussion that might actually have a light at the end of the tunnel-i...

40K pronunciation guide. Abaddon = [uh - BAD -done], Belial = [bee - LEEL] (I promise), and chimera = [KY - murr - uh]

GW also say\ all space Marine chapters wish they could be Ultramarines, but I don't think anyone believes that either.

Where? Where does it say that?

In Codex: Space Marines. Matt Ward has a hard-on for the smurfs.

Ironically, the warrior monks are argued to be unable to return the favor.

I think we should be referring to him as Gargamel by now.
There's even a picture of him that could easily be photoshoped to reflect this.

But consider also that 99% of the material we read about the 40k universe is, fluffily, recorded and archived by the Imperium.

When we read a BL book, or a GW codex, we're reading them as Imperial citizens from an Imperial archive.

Everything as the player sees it is from an Imperial point of view.

With a few exceptions (Codex: Tau Empire going where no Imperial scholar has ever gone before, etc).

So there's no reason for every book in the 40k setting to NOT be written in that style.
