My favorite 40k model would have to be the Manticore/Deathstrike, both in terms of looks and how it performs on the tabletop. That kit is just really neat!

The Valk would be a close runner-up, though.

@Melissia - DKoK have some of the best models in the entire IG range, IMO, and the Commissars are the best of the best.

Nurgle dread is my current fave, possibly because he's under my brush at the moment.

Cadian Kasrkin, the guys look dead killy and dead 'ard

For FW the entire DKoK range, the baneblade (I prefer the FW one to the GW one)

I also like the SM honour guard, sternguard, and Marneus Calagar
