It's not about maxing out all your stats either.

Some parts were silly an predictable, but they were still good!

Here's hoping we're not forced to waste two decades on a Spire like level again. I hated that.

Really the only thing I had a problem with in the game is that unless you just didn't upgrade a certain area of your skills you would always look the same. You would be a musclebound tall man with glowing blue lines all over you and if you where a woman you looked like a wanabe She-Hulk and you wern't really able to specialise in one particular area over the others.

Hopefully pt 3 will actually have an interesting story that evolves and becomes more challenging.

I had the same probs with pts 1&2. Hacked away at them and played through anyways.

My biggest complaint is that there is the lack of specialization. Focusing on a specific area (melee, ranged, magic) doesn't give you any real advantage. Once I played through the first time, I didn't feel the need to go back.

I might be excited about it if Fable 2 wasn't so...blah.

I'm very excited for Fable 3. I loved Fable 2 enough that I 100%ed the game. I've always been a big fan of Peter Molyneux, even if he does run talk to much sometimes.

For those that don't like it... you can't look at it like a typical RPG. What's great about it is the open world and all the different stuff you can do. I spent hours and hours not even doing quests or anything, but running around cities entertaining people, sleeping with women, buying up property...

I just hope the setup for your character's looks are better in this. I like maxing all my stats, but I hate that it makes me look (more or less) the same as anyone else who maxes their stats.

I agree. i think they should have individualised the appearance between male and female characters. If you max out on strength attributes then you end up looking like the hulk which I guess makes sense, but it dosen't make sense when the female characters look exactly the same.

Fable games are all the same:

Little to no customization. They're short. They're easy. They're over-promised and under-delivered.

But, they can still be a rather fun time.

I'll probably get 3 eventually, but I'm in no rush and not particularly excited.

Now that it comes to it I'm more excited about The Force Unleashed 2

Cause muscly women don't stroke you well? (I agree but I think it's a moot point here)

Umm muscled women are fine, I didn't say I had anything against women with muscles so I'm not really sure how you came to that conclusion. What I am saying is that they should have differintiated how it was represented in the game between the sexes because a muscular woman is not going to look the same as a muscular man yet in the game they look almost exactly the same. So I'm not sure how it is a moot point.

I'm well aware that Fable had a decent story, and Fable 2's maybe was a bit less polished. But it's good enough for me to want to spend 4 hours striaght in front of the TV, its real escapism. I love everything about the Fable universe, the humour the art, the off British accents. Everything, it's great.

Having John Cleese as your own butler, and a reoccurance of Stephen Fry's character (so I hear) is phenomenal.

Afaik, from a medical perspective, muscular women have a greater level of testosterone in their system, which prevents them having the obligatory RPGLOLBEWBS.

Tbh, I rarely play a female character. But i do remeber that chick... Thunder or something? From Fable 2, she looked pretty masculine.

Lol Thunder was her brother, her name was Whisper.

Who is Whisper? The only females characters I know of are Hammer, Theresa and Rose. Plus the main character if you choose to be female
