Daydream, you are wrong because the rule in the BRB doesn't state "ignore page 89." It says to ignore army selection rules given in army books. Part of army selection is now choosing a lore. If you choose a lore based on a rule in the HE book, you are ignoring the dictate preventing that and breaking that rule.

If it were just errata and said "ignore page 89" (like the issue with VC and Vampires as generals, where they can now theoretically make a wight king their general because the errata says to ignore a certain page) you might have an argument. That's not what is going on though.
