Man, plane and simple, that list frightens the FETH out of me! So much melta! Im Armourguard and Jesus Christ! And excorcists are bad news.

The fact that (in a guess) you lost 500 odd points to deepstrike means your pretty much gonna loose automatically. Ask anyone whos played a 2500 vs 3000 point game and they will agree.

Id say drop pod some stuff, take the fight to the enemy without letting them take it to you.

Remember, drop pods are safe (I assume templars HAVE drop pods..dont they!?) and can get you there turn 1.

imo you didnt have the correct ranged units in this list, and although I never did believe in melee, more range is always better.

We do have them yes, but we are not subject to the "Half come in now.." rules that the other codex marines are i think, well i see no mention of it in our codex anyway!!

We played again yesterday and i managed to win!..Lost SOME stuff, but nothing as bad as last time, we played Annihilation and table halves, and i got first turn!..So i was a very happy religious zealot!

I managed to pop 2 rhino's first turn with my speeders, one being destroyed to the extent of the squad inside being vaporised! and another rhino was immobilzed, and my vindi's popped one exocists and shook the other one!

Got the second turn assault, and managed to mop up quite Nicely, lost all the Rhino's and one Vindi's, 3 speeders, half of one crusader squad and a few termies!!

Think the dice god's favoured me this time!
