Once we were done, we would position all our lego men, then flick elastic bands at each others forts until all the enemy was "dead" (knocked over)
It was the greatest game ever!
Sounds like "Weapons and Warriors".

Heh, my co-worker has been collecting mini-figs at work, and knows I'm a sucker for pirates. We went to the Lego Store at lunch and I picked up a new boat.
Yeah. For more of that 'nostalgia' this is just cool.

So, if you want to share an old photo of some lego models, or just chat about it, this is the place! And yes, I have changed my avatar from a Wraithlord to a miniman (for lolz). Those were the days. I remember them well... *sniff*
What sort of sets of Lego do you have and do you have a lot of Lego?
More than I can remember, it's all in my attic or something now. I'm thinking about getting more, but not COBI. . Oh, and try LDD (lego digital designer) using virtual bricks out of their entire library of bricks, then you can get the custom kit sent to your door! Hooray!!!
Yeah, that's a half decent program. I was surprised at how well it actually works. If I want to stick one on those brick nubs into a slotty hole, it lets me! I love it! Too bad it doesn't allow super glued wings
Well, Redbeard, Lego do remove old elements from the library (ones that are OOP, don't sell well etc. The train tracks are one of many removed from the software.), so unfortunately you can't get old bricks no more (except ebay probably on that one). But I agree, the software is great! I haven't bought anything yet from LDD, but I may in the future!
Oh, and I realised also that when you use official instructions from lego.com and set the program so it only gives you a limited amount of pieces to make a real-life box set, (I tried building a virtual excavator) the software can't handle complicated brick placements.
I had a 13 or 15 unit long technic piece with holes in the side, had to fit it to 6 or 7 little nub things, yet it wouldn't go, although it would AFAIK in reality. A few more undetected bugs in the program perhaps, none the less, considering what they've done, it's great! My little detailed constructive criticism for the peoples.

Well, he didn't really live in it, I thought that they had a party for a few hours, and then demolished it. Should have done a massive GW battle thing, methinks.

Anybody still play the old Lego computer games? I dug out my copies of Alpha Team and Rock Raiders a few months ago and had a blast playing through 'em. Shame the Rock Raiders seem to have the intelligence of the rocks they're mining.

Ok, a tank or a plane I can understand.
How does one go about making a Bl*w J*b out of lego?
("Hummer" is a slang term for a sexual act, as well as a huge guzzeline powered vehicle).
oh, grow up.

I have 5 2x3x4 boxes of legos and megablox at home, I really liked the "dragons" line megablox did a few years back. The classic "dragons" and "krystal wars" were good, then it went downhill after that with the "fire and ice" set.

I have 3 big plastic boxes (about 3 and a literes each) of lego. From rifles etc, to swordsmen and medieval stuff. Even have an old castle with dungeon.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
