I'm sure the majority of us have played with these plastic parts sometime in our lives, you can build toy planes, toy boats, toy houses, even basic scenery for your wargames. So, if you want to share an old photo of some lego models, or just chat about it, this is the place! And yes, I have changed my avatar from a Wraithlord to a miniman (for lolz). And to start the discussion, i found this clip...

Those were the days. I remember them well... *sniff*

That is awesome, and yes I still have my Lego it is in a large bin mixed with Lego samurai, knights, future soldiers, modern civilians, etc, etc... I much prefer the old sets when you could get castles, medieval Japan, pirates, cooler dragons and that "Indiana Jones" rip-off "Johnny Thunder". I haven't touched it in a while I'm going to have to build my own custom (yeah I prefer making my own stuff then following the instructions) set.

Hardly anyone likes to talk about toys from their childhood and the similar? That's madness!

LEGO?

Toys from childhood?

I've bought all my lego since becoming an adult. I know more adults who have it than kids. It isn't electronic and instant gratification enough for most kids.

It's mine - stuff the kids, they can get their own.

The ninja set was officially the best theme ever. Why they didn't re-release it is beyond me. I LOVED those swords that came with the ninjas. It was the greatest theme ever.

I love legos. I've been playing with them for most of my life, and currently, I have a big old trash bag filled with legos in my closet. NOT for throwing away

LEGOs ruled my life as a child. Just loved them. I used to build WW2 vehicles and weapons platforms all the time. Pretty fun re enacting battles and such with multi colored quad 50s and shermans

squilverine wins thread. That was hilarious.

I gave all my legos away to the young ones in my family years ago. I remember when the space men only came in white and red!

Ok, a tank or a plane I can understand.

How does one go about making a Bl*w J*b out of lego?

("Hummer" is a slang term for a sexual act, as well as a huge guzzeline powered vehicle).

On a boat, Trying not to die.

I, at age 14, still have at least 400 pounds (weight, not currency) of Legos sitting all over the house. I tried to fit them all on one shelf. Woke up in the middle of the night to see that the shelf had snapped, taking some drywall with it. Fun times, fun times...

The Ministry of Love: Room 101

Me and a friend used to build a lego fort each with a set number of lego men.

Once we were done, we would position all our lego men, then flick elastic bands at each others forts until all the enemy was "dead" (knocked over)

It was the greatest game ever!

That titan just looks epic!!! (take that GW, no paint needed (except in the manufacturing, possibly). The dreadnought looks brilliant. Well done that person! And that youtube video drives me ears crazy!!!

It's sad that Lego lost it's patenting and trademark in 2008. It's so sad, my LGS now stock shelves and shelves of COBI. So sad. The lego group should have got some credit for the original idea.
