Favourite two pieces of wargear: MotW and Wolf Standard, pop the latter in the first/second combat, and BOOM!, target unit as good as dead, and your GHs effectively gain a 2+ armour save, and you can use it to make (almost) sure you don't completley fluff up your MotW roll.
Favourite Weapon: Powerfists, just basically awesome, your opponent thinks it's all over than WHAM, 2-3 more guys of his dead.
Favourite Unit: Grey Hunters. I'd say IMO the best troop unit in the game, or close enough, if equipped and played right.

Commander: Fuegan. Well, any Phoenix Lord really (in almost all my lists that I like), but Fuegan is pretty high up there.

Wargear:
cc: A wraithsword. I'm S10 and re-roll to hit. Die!
Ranged: Pulse lasers are almost always there. If not I have a doom weaver. Twin linked I-kill-you-during-your-turn.
Otherwise: Holo-fields. Runes of warding may be mean, but holo-fields cause no end of frustration for my opponents.

Hard to go wrong with a demon weapon on my lord. I can be S5, or cause instant death or use poison, up to 10 times! (No Khorne flakes for me, thanks!) For CC I've always loved the chainfist. Gods it seems like it would be fun to weild. However, having units with single lightning claws is most destructive. For shooting, I have always daydreamed about having my own assault cannon. I know there are more powerful guns out there. But, to see it spinning whilst spitting unending fire, ala the shooting trees scene in Predator would really kick ass.

40K pronunciation guide. Abaddon = [uh - BAD -done], Belial = [bee - LEEL] (I promise), and chimera = [KY - murr - uh]

I would definately need my trusted little storm bolter and relic blade, and why would I ever forget my Power Armour? I would need some melta-bombs too, and maybe a little old storm shield in case things get hairy. Also, a sniper rifle would be great. I'd even get a company standard, just to ensure I survive. Can't forget my Land Raider though, in case I need a quick lift.

Heh, you REALLY ought to play guard with an endless throng of just lasgunners with frag grenades and meltabombs (these add a little power, I know, I'm sorry). There is no more versatile army in the game. After all, why have powerful weapons when they'll just wind up being effective against what you use them against?

Also, I should have noted in my original post, as a guard infantry commander I no longer leave home without lots of commissars as well. No real reason to run a guard infantry list without them.

for an unknown reason, my guardsmen really seems to have "balls of steel" i can count with one hand the times they fleed.... so, for me comissars are more a good way to put a powerfist in the field, or just to put some minis variety.... anyway its always good to prevent....

my army lacks of heavy weapon teams, they're just one or two, missile launchers are deployed with the guardsmen, less chance to hit, but that means that can shoot against more target at the same time..., and being missile launchers that means they can deal against anything but the heaviest. I dont have a HUGE mass of troops, but enough to handle maybe everything, not to mention my LRBTs support...

'Waves hand' This isn't the user you are looking for.

Hi

Well thanks to a little piece of background I wrote at least one thunder hammer, usually three.

Ranged would have to be the sniper rifle remember: If their shooting the scouts, their not shooting the terminators.

And, last but by no means least, wargear: I am going to have to say digital weapons. As I say: Just in case.

Although I do rather like my meltabombs, they never do anything, but Just in case.

Bye
Waaagh!
