Dual lash is a bane for Orks, they have no defense against it. You can lash boyz into tight little circles to template to death or lash nobs w/ PK to the back to get out of killing marines.

Berzerkers on the charge can on a good roll, kill 20 boyz and includes fearless wounds.

It really depends on what kind of ork army it is. Landraiders orks suffer against unless its the warboss in HtH and lootas cry. everything else thats a vehicles lootas can kill reliably.

As an Ork player, anytime I see a sizeable unit of terminators I get a happy feeling in mah belly. It's a unit I can just swamp with 2-3 units of boys while my army roflstomps everything else.

A typical lash/oblit/berserker powerbuild will faceroll footsloggin' Orks - but what does your opponent use? What's his army composition?

orks are highly flammable things, with enough flame templates you could roast entire squads of boyz with ease, lash sorcerers/DP's can control the movement of these squads and drag them around like dolls. or reel them in for a slaughter.


Orks like to assault, deny them their assault and hit them first!

or tear them apart with blast templates and flamers. THEN assault.

examples:
I used a lash sorcerer to squish together a unit of boyz to be perfect for a flame template, which came from a 5 flamer squad of chosen! scoring a whopping 14 hits per flamer! lets just say the barbecue was good.

havocs with heavy bolters can reliably put out 12 ork squishing shots per turn and probebly kill 4-10 orks depending on rolls.
I found that missile havocs can dish out far more damage if you can hit a clumped unit with 4 lucky blast templates. (scored 6,3,4,6 hits on one turn, exploded about 10+ orks.
Plus you can use those same launchers to punch holes into any dreads, kans, or vehicles he might be bringing.

krak missiles also insta-gib nobs.

Don't ever mix heavy weapons in a havoc squad, stick all with 1 type of weapon. 4 ml is usually best against anyone.

Chaos double lash lists need no tailoring against orks. If its a 2 lash list you don't need flamers or zerkers against orks, any all comers list willl work.

Lash and heavy support wrecks orks. Oblits can pcannon meganobs, defilers can battlecannon nobs, and havocs can quad frag missle boys. Ps leave heavy bolters at home, frag against clustered orks>hb

Havoc ml also wreck orks.

Start the game as a gunline, fall back and give ground to prolong shooting, and when the orks get close charge. Nilla csm and pm wreck orks boys when they get the charge off even if they are equiped with meltas for a alll comers list.

I usually table orks with an all comers duel lash list that doesn't even have oblits and has a 9 man thousand sons squad. A well played duel lash list should always wreck orks.

i like noise marines personally just make sure have lash to make them especially effective oh and abbadon never hurts ive used him and he never dies even when you through a full squd of nids at him although in my defense he was with a full squad of korne berserkers

Havocs armed with Auto Cannons and Missile launchers working in conjunction with some defilers or vindys and Noise Marines should keep the green skins away.

For heavy weapons, its a toss up between HBolters and ACannons. Extra Shot + Less Cost + Less Range + Less Strength. I would take the Autocannons, just because they can EASILY put a hurting on orky vehicles. Just Aim them at Large Mobs of Kans/Buggies or Trukks that are full.
