This would be awesome. I could probably sit through the horrible environmental brainwashing if Will Ferrell brought the lols.

I almost always agree with Albatross, I can't see why anyone wouldn't.

Okay, so the male version of "Cougar" is now officially "Albatross".

Oh no...Gah. I hate shows that try to ram political messages down kid's throats....they then grow up thinking people who do a certain thing are evil, because the show potrayed them as such. If you're going to educate kids about an issue....actually, don't even try. They'd rather watch Spongebob than try and learn.

I don't recall any of the cartoons I watched as a kid trying to have any kind of sociopolitical relevance.

It was more about fighting aliens and Skeletor and Mum-Ra and whatnot. Oh, and Cobra. I feel like I'm better for it.

Yeah there were terrorists in GI Joe but I don't think that the show was attempting to be educational on the subject.

And didn't heman have a minute at the end of every show where they gave you some inspirational message like stay in school or don't do drugs? I recall most shows from the 80's had some message at the end of them.

I didn't mean about terrorism. I meant how the whole show basically screamed "join the army!" GI Joe - a REAL American hero.

If that had been the case it would have been about the Marines.

I think you're mistaken.

Also, the veracity of a thing is not dependent upon the number of people who know about it. It was also a joke.
