Those two quests took me 4 months total. They are why I have stopped playing it.

Back to the OP:If you have a Gamecube, Tales of Symphonia is a good length game. About 80+ hours of stuff to do in there. The latest Zelda game had somewhere around 80+ hours of stuff as well. Skies of Arcadia is another longish game.

Any Pokemon game you can blow a couple months playing.

Fable 3 is coming out soon, That should be nice and long.

Most long games are going to be Sandboxes or RPGs(or even both)

Oh snap. Pokemon can take months to actually finish, and that's if you don't get into the meta game D: Fable 3 should be pretty time intensive too, but then again I was a bit let down by how fast you could complete 2 without much experience with the game, so fingers crossed.

Yanno, that was part of the immersion though. Dont get me wrong, I do like quick travel sometimes, like in Fallout3, I think its cooll. But at the same time, it does take away from pulling you in. Also remember in Morrowind that you actually had to do some detective work to find places for your quests. These days, theres a big fat X with glowing neons and fireworks and sometimes....just SOMETIMES....... you get a guardian angel pulling you there by the hand.

Try Skies of Arcadia Legends.

Jak and Daxter...now that was a fun game. 24 hours was the fastest I could ever do it.
