No doubt I am, I had them, sold them, and now want to start again. The Archon model better be normal...the last one was hideous.

Did you see some of the older tyranids?
I'd say that counts

Chaos Eldar just sound awesome. Normal Eldar look quite cool, but being space faeries is a bit... well... gay.

I thought chaos might give them the harder edge that they needed. And I really liked the idea of some chaos scorpions led by their fallen phoenix lord.

But alas we never got got Chaos Eldar. DE just seem more like bondage exodites with the 'gay' turned up to max. And their ships look like they are made out of tyranid reject parts.

Then there is the fluff...

I don't think there is anything I like about Dark Eldar or anything that would get me interested in them. Chaos Eldar I might go for though.

I totally agree with you, I thought the same thing back then... Slaneshi Howling Banshees and Khornate Scorpions... Along those lines though, you could make a wicked counts as army with eldar models and the CSM codex

For the Emperor! Kill Maim Burn!... I mean purge the unclean!

Elves of any form just don't interest me. Blame The new High Elves.
