You could always buy a box of Kasrkin and then cast a bunch or resin models after you make a mould of them. Sadly I don't know how to do this, but I know someone who is attempting to semi successfully. Someone around here might be able to point you in the right direction if you want to research this.

That sounds interesting. I've tried to make molds in the past, but they didn't work out to well. Local craft stores sell resin and it is pretty cheap actually.

Doing so (making casts of someone else IP) is also against the law in the U.S.. If someone wants to make an issue of it you could get into real trouble.

I thought it was only illegal if your intention was to sell said product

Nope, it's considered stealing. There is no "fair use" doctrine for this sort of thing. And even if there was, making a total copy is still a violation and not "fair use". Now mind you, if you're just doing this for yourself then it's not likely that anyone will report you. I do remember that there was/maybe still is a "bounty" put out by GW that you can collect on if you report fake GW figures to them. They will may action from that point or, if you're lucky they may just give you a Cease and Desist order.

Eh, there's a ton of cheap Karskins on Ebay so I think that's the route I'll go. I might pick up a couple Tauros though.

Thanks all for your advice.

I second this, I made a very nice platoon out of them.

Are the guns on the sc fi greatcoats easy to remove?

And do the figures work with GW IG sprues so I can attach special weapons and the like

Damn I cant wait to the GW legal team codex comes out now there is a dex that will conquer all.
