I prob. will go Skorne too.

But just for looks, I like the whole ninja theme of eMorghoul.

Though I do hear some doom and gloom about him :-(

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

But the question is... Will they be Southern Skorne? (actually has a nice ring to it now that I think about it)

I probably mis-entered it into iBodger. I tried to leave out unpainted models, but I slipped
in a few places.

I actually enjoy Hordes quite a bit. The thought of controlling some huge monsters (like King Kong, Godzilla, etc.) to smashing things up just seems so primal (no pun intended). I definitely see the appeal of steam punk, but Hordes armies are appealing in a total different way. Over all the two systems synergize quite well, we have the technical looking jacks and the organic beasts.

Maybe people like the broken feats in WM better?

It looks like I'm one of the very few Skorne players here on Dakka.

eMorghoul was quite uber up until the end of MK1. His feat was chagned, but I still feel he's quite brutal in MK2. The addition of Ghost Walk and Rush from the Titan Gladiators actually makes him quite adept at firing Karn or eMorghoul missiles directly at enemy warlocks and warcasters.

It is true that the MK1 eMorghoul is different then MK2, but Karn with SPD 6 + 2 (with Rush) that is immune to "free strikes" trampling at your warlock or warcaster will usually strike fear into most opponents.

Not sure what ninja theme you're refering to, but eMorghoul's still got it.

I think he's referring to the theme force in the book, Imperial Executioners.

started cygnar back 5 years ago, kept them a long time, traded them for a circle army in a moment of madness, and back in the process of building them back up

for hordes, i have a trollblood, loved the faction from the time it came out, and still try to get all the models that come out for it

also have a cryx force, not sure how many points, that i've been building up a pierce here and there, and i'm slowly building up mercs that work for cygnar or cryx

Alright, alright, I'll fix it.

Ahh, eMorghoul tier lists? That means no Molik Karn missile for you... Bummer.

eMorghoul and the bloodrunners look ninja like to me Maybe not really in game, but close enough for my liking them .

I just got eMorghoul, he needs some greenstuffing and then onto paint. I think he's gonna get painted before my 50+ points of Cryx .

I like the look of the tier list and would like to 'go the distance', but this means essentially throwing out heavy beasts who are the staple of a Skorne list.

Not only does it mean that Molik Karn (a model I do like) is not available, but the Gladiator (nearly auto-include for at least rush) is not available as well.
The sad part is, the Rhinodon is the heaviest that beasts get and I'm not a fan of that model... :-( Can't win.

I mean, that's the point of the tier list: flavor before competitiveness. I'll just have to bite the bullet...I am a fan of all the cyclopse models so it's not too bad from a looks angle.

Just teasing. My main faction initially was Cygnar, I sold it, now I want to re-start it, so I are also dumber.

Currently I play Mercs, specifically Searforge. I love them. I think they are one of the most restrictive lists, that still competes in all aspects of the game. The restrictions actually make them really easy to collect, and fun to build. Its easy to make lists when your choices are reallly thin.

I've been looking to start a 2nd faction. But am currently torn between Circle, Cygnar, Cryx, and possibly Retribution. I am also drawn to try to make Karchev out of an extreme Juggernaut.. but that might just be for kicks. Then I'd let you use him of course.

Last week of the poll, so please vote if you have not had the chance to do so.

The numbers are looking a little more in sync to what I was expecting, although I always thought that the "most popular" factions were Khador and Cygnar (not Cryx). I guess people like jacks more than beasts... Hordes players are pretty badily out numbered.

Thanks to eveyone who already voted.

Compared to many in fact most 40k factions the Menites are rather restrained.

Witch Hunters tried to fill the fundamentalist army niche and by and large failed, I am suprised it took so long for someone to do this. The only faction theme we waited longer for are SF zombies, and it took Rackham of all people to run with that.
