Time for you to begin painting with them. I love them for Warmachine. I began with the starter kits.

However, back on topic. I think the Vallejo metallics are a bit hit/miss dependent upon how long they were sitting on the shelf. Stick with the other brands suggestions for replacing Brazen Brass.

The Vallejo Model Air Metallics, are the proverbial. Being designed purely to run through an airbrush the metallic flakes and pigments are very finely refined and give a fantastic coat, definitely worth a look.

Ty,

As always you know a bit more than the rest of us. Didnt even know this was an option.

What do they run for?

I actually only found out about them the other day, after watching a video that compared different ranges. (It was actually produced by Lbursley I think, or at least awesomepaintjob)

Anyway I trialled one and they are very nice, a little thin, but they are designed to go straight through an airbrush from the pot so what can you do.

Prices I have found are:

$5 AUD from Russell at theCombatCompany
1.66 Pounds from Maelstrom.

That is per single bottle, the metallics do come in two sets, a small and a large. The small is quite nice, does all your standard colours. Add in the Rust metallic and you should be set for anything.
