Hi guys

The army was purchased by a gamer in SoCal who is a big fan of Apocalypse gaming. It will be spending some time on display in the LA Battle Bunker, and will hopefully make a few appearances in some cool Apocalypse storylines.

A fitting future for one of my favorite armies.

Thank you to everyone who helped out promoting the auction. Justin and John are very appreciative.

I couldn't agree more with you. I know how it is getting rid of an army, I've had to sell off a couple of mine over the years. I'm a really big fan of your work, and your work has inspired my own Marines in a big way. What you did is very noble, such a good cause, and I know that your friends will appreciate the help. It's great that you could help them out, and I'm very glad to see the army go to somebody that will appreciate it.

Wow almost 4000$ spent on this army, somebody has a bit too much disposable income.

That was the army that inspired me to make the Storm Crusaders!

I expect the army went for so much given that it was being sold as a charity to help some people who's lives have suffered dramatically.

Kudos to the buyer for helping Dave's friends and getting something tangible and special in return ... along with the special feeling of helping some people in their difficult times.

Why are you saddened? Unless the winner bought it so he could smash it with a hammer on YouTube it's probably going to see a lot more gaming use than it does at the moment plus Mr. Taylor is able to help some friends out.

WOW, i've loved that army for ages! and I must say not only do I echo everyone's sentiments about dave helping out his friends which is an amazing thing to do but it's great to see the Dakka community getting behind the cause, even if it's kind words of support and encouragement! a truly worthy cause and I honestly hope things get better for both of dave's friends, but with friends like dave how could they not get better!

Dude its in la at a battle bunker.... Having little kids touching your models is not what i call good.
