I also just wanted to use the word 'Gailbraithesque'.

Completely understandable. But, still...your opinion my good sir. I personally find Colbert very amusing, though I don't find the interview portions of either show as amusing as the faux-news part. Ah well, to each his own.

What an idiot! Of course Jews run the whole world. They always have. Oh well, Sanchez was on his way to being the next Glenn Beck. Maybe now he'll self-destruct and we'll be rid of him.

It's odd you should say that, because I really only became aware of Sanchez the other week when Beck was saying that he might be the stupidest man on TV, and playing sound bytes of him being stupid.

Only if you're unceasingly cynical.

Its cynical to believe that people who spend money in order to present media do so in order to influence anyone who might view their media?

I just haven't figured out who it is yet.

I would only like to say that I am absolutely salivating for Monday's Daily Show.

Come on now. You know who the victim is.

Don't WE ALL KNOW WHO THE VICTIM IS? THE VICTIM IS? VICTIM? IS?

It is only cynical if you only think of the word propaganda as a pejorative. Not all propaganda is negative.

+1 Unless, of course, you're Gailbraithe. But yeah, going after the dictionary definition of propaganda? Not necessarily bad. It's just one of those words that, over time, has been twisted by pop culture into a 'bad' thing.

Yes, but...

you own paint.

there should be some cardboard or canvas around.

Turn off the TV

incinerate it

take brushes

play music you like

paint a picture dictated by your mind

feel human again.

Sorry little boy, you don't get to decide what is human or what people enjoy. Perhaps if you spent more time following your own advice of doing something you like instead of complaining about things you don't and have no control over, you'd be happier and perhaps would feel a bit more human yourself.

Why all the hate? If you don't like it, don't watch it but you act like they personally came to your school and stole your Barbies and lunch money. Makes you seem petty and vindictive. There is nothing wrong with not liking the shows but so far your reasons are vapid and anemic. Either you don't really know why you don't like them or you don't like them because they are popular. You take something so trifling so personal. Are you really so insecure in your beliefs that you have to attack a comedy show you are under no obligation to watch or even like?

Erm, The Daily show is on More4 every night at 8.30pm. I've been watching for ages. I watched it last night.
