In Kid Kyoto's defense, he's been posting threads like that since I was new on Dakka, and the change to keep questions out of News and Rumors is a relatively recent one (due to the higher volume of news and rumors we've had).

This was a good question. Asking "hay whats the new darkeldar rumors!1" amidst multiple threads of Dark Eldar rumors is usually the stuff I recall seeing closed.

Although its not going to happen i'd like a new Black Templars codex as good as the BA one.

I am not trying to pick on Kid Kyoto. I am rather happy with him overall as he was the one who first brought the WF greatcoats to my attention and was nice enough to keep everyone up to date with the goings on. He does have a very disturbing desire for phallic firearms though.

My isue is more with the fact that I have seem question topics shut down and others left go. When I finally brought this up and asked about it I was told that the policy was no questions in News & Rumors. Ok. Fine. When I pressed about why some are allowed to exist my response was that it was interesting enough to allow and the others where not.

That is a crap answer. If you have a policy then enforce it. If it isnt news or a rumor then dont post it there. This forum has enough areas to figure out a good place for. Just enforce the rules equally.

Quiet you, BT have a good thing going. No need for GW to put their fat little sausage fingers on the codex and mess it up.
