So this time last year we were all smacking our lips over Space Hulk and the Dark Angel Dream House of Redemption.

Any rumors for this year?

No rumors, but personally, Id love a Deamon army deal

The News and Rumors section is not for questions. It is for actual news or actual rumors. I am shocked to see a MOD violating a policy that shuts down topics several times a week.

That being said I haven't heard a thing.

Mod are allowed to do whatever they want. That's why they are mods! :p

And I think the DE are the Xmas Treat. I mean, 12 years... Wow...

I say that MODs should lead by example. Not wave their authority around like a bully with some fat kids milk money.

It would be more interesting to see 4 smaller Daemon army deals, one for each god. Pity Nurgle has no plastics, and the Slaanesh and Tzeentch daemons suck compared to their predecessors.

Yeah, I've said it before and I'll say it again, GW is really dropping the ball with the daemons/CSM releases. They all look like garbage.

I can't imagine how depressing it must be to be a CSM player right now, not only is the codex one of the worst on account of how boring and lifeless it is, but you can't even look forward to getting new models because they're all crap.

...anyway, I'm going to second Gwar in saying that the DE are probably the Christmas thing for this year. Either that or they should do another run of Space Hulk for everyone who didn't get one the first time.

Isn't there supposed to be a completely new DE Heavy Choice? Maybe that's the Christmas Release this year?

Sold both my CSM (Word Bearers) and WoC.... simply due to the lack of flavour in both armies in the new Codex/Army Book...

I don;t know if it counts as a "Special Release" but my local GW got 9, count 'em 9, Fortresses of Redemption for the holiday season.

Can buy them all year round.. not really special.

Well, Dark Eldar are November, not October, so unless they're staggering something fancy until the next month (Dark Eldar battleforce maybe?) It's not really them.

Since apparently the mega paint set is nearly out of stock already, it's not that.

I did hear about, however, there being a mini paint station due for release. I think it was shown in the background of one of the photographs.

True dat. Id pounce on the god specific deals any day of the week as well. Plastic Nurgle would be nice as well

The new painting station is plastic, however, it wont be a special release either, its the new "regular".

Maybe they'll release new Nurgle, Slaanesh and Tzeentch plastics when Codex: Chaos - The Apology comes out.

Or maybe they'll announce the firing of whoever thought removing the Armoury section of the codices was a good idea.

Gotta admit Kyoto, I am in agreement with the others that it was an inappropriate post in news and rumors, I do watch several threads a week getting shut down for asking questions with no news or rumor content. As is always said in those threads, by myself and other members and mods, obviously if anyone knew anything and was a member of this site, they would have already posted it...

That would be awsome news. My FLGS has several of their models painted and in a display case. I'd really like to be able to play the game.

Mmm... Christmas . Get to see everyone "Christmas-ifying" their avatars, too! I remember KK's was in a blizzard during the snowpocalypse around here .
