I would have thought this would be even more exaggerated in elves since even the men are girly looking. Yet her shoulders and chest seem very broad in comparison to her hips, which would be more in tune with a male figure.
You've seen female althetes right? Her body looks pretty well proportioned. In regards to her broad shoulders, look at female swimmers. She's a gladiator, basically an athlete in a lethal environment. She's going to be muscly and well built.

So basically, tgf is upset that he doesn't find the model attractive? And is insulting everyone who says it's good?

I have seen female athletes, and being a artist by trade I've made quite a study of human anatomy and have many books on the subject. Musculature and bone structure are not the same thing. I'm not saying it's impossible for a female to have those proportions, but they are not typically female proportions, in fact they are more typical of males. My point is that the people who are saying that she looks like a man are not unjustified. I don't personally think she looks like a man, but I do think she could have certainly been more feminine. Especially when you consider she is not just female, she is an Eldar female.
If you are saying that she is supposed to look like a man because she's a gladiator, then I won't argue with you. But I thought speed and elegance was meant to be more the eldar niche, not brute strength.

Indeed, speed and grace are the Eldar schtik.
I don't think that means their muscles wouldn't gradually build up. We don't see any of the melee Eldar without armour (that I can remember, anyway), so Wyches are the only example we can go on. The new plastic Wyches seem to be pretty beefy as well, even the females.

Ah, that explains why sprinters, gymnasts, fencers, and acrobats are willowy double-d-cup waifs.
Though I think you might have hit on something with that whole "Not Human, Eldar" thing you noticed.

Well I would be more inclined to go on artwork rather than other models, since GW models tend to be in the cartooney heroic scale anyway. This is actually one of the things that has always bugged me about the Jain Zar model. I always liked banshees, and she is one of my favourite characters. In her artwork she is the galaxies number one gymnast, super slender and elegant. But this isn't quite reflected so well in her model.
It isn't just the green in this picture that makes me think 'incredible hulk'
When you compare these to human female models like the calidus assassins and death cult assasins who are far more slender... It does make me think maybe something is a bit off with the eldar sculpts.

Art isn't a trade, it's a craft. Pedantic differences aside.
Female swimmers do have broad shoulders (compared to 'normal' females) without looking less than feminine.
Eldar are NOT human.
Nor are they 'elves' in the traditional sense.
I like it. I do not want to masturbate to it.

Something you do as a full time job is a trade, crafty or not.
Female swimmers do have broad shoulders (compared to 'normal' females) without looking less than feminine.
And ladyboys have a penis, without looking less than feminine... but that does not suddenly make a penis a feminine trait. Neither is broad shoulders a particularly feminine trait.
Having broad shoulders for a woman is not the same as having broad shoulders for a man. Men and women have different and very distinctive bone structure.
Take a look at these hands:
It is instantly obvious that these are women's hands. But why? Surely hands are hands right? But no. Mens hands are different, they have a tendency towards more developed bones and knuckles which gives them a different shape, by which they can be identified. Exactly like their faces have a different shape. A person has to be quite unfortunate looking for other people to not be able to tell what gender they are by their face. The same is true for every part of the body including shoulders. You can't give a girl a mans shoulders and expect it not to look a bit off. She may still look like a girl, but it is still going to set alarm bells ringing in the tyranny detection part of your brain. If it doesn't then I strongly suggest you have a trusted friend meet any 'girls' you were thinking of taking home... just in case... you know...
