Sisters, because I've only played against unpainted armies and it annoys me.
Also, because I get annihilated by faith points, rerolls and 2+ invuln saves or something.

Oh and Imperial guard are pretty horrible to vs with all the tanks and melta spam.

I really hate Space Wolves.

There's just way too much of it, nowadays. Oh wow, TWC and nine million Missile Launchers? This will be fun. Again.

Though when you beat them, it's not so bad.

Space wolves because I'm not usually playing against space wolves, but chaos marines using the SW codex as an upgrade dex.

Also, there are too many people using that dex. I thought the books were awesome and that the models were cool so I got them. Is that a crime these days? Jeez

I agree that it's annoying to have to face the same army time and timne again, so I try to mix it up a bit. Go 4 HQ!

Although, I am lucky as I am the only SW player in my group, so I don't have to worry about spammy lists.

x6 PCS each with a ML (total 8)
x30 Troop squads each with a ML (total 38)

x3 Sentinel squads with 3 sentinels each having a ML (total 137)

If you count Hunter Killer

So yeah, we guard can spam ML out the yin yang seeing as nearly everything can take some form of missile launcher.

Note: I did not include Manticore because you cant squadron them

Also, under the rules for Hunter Killer it does not say we have a limit on the number of Hunter Killer's we can take.

Oh yeah! Sentinels can take Hunter Killer missiles also so that makes a total of 223/226

Yeah, it looks fun to play, but stilll... too much of a good thing, sometimes. Some lists will just rip through. Some how, SW are just more... balanced. If you like to win, its fun, if not, its stale.

Necrons. Especially in KP games. I shoot them, 50% get back up, then they are sucked through a Monolith and 50% of the remainder get back up. I think in an entire turn of shooting with my IG I managed to knock down a 6 man Destroyer squad, which subsequently all passed their WBB rolls and joined another unit.

gak like that is just depressing as an opponent.

Last time someone started a thread like this, people complained about any army that sits and shoots. So, it seems a lot of people dislike a style of combat more then a particular army.

I like my style of combat just fine thank you very much. Some match-ups are tougher than others but thats exactly how it should be.

I really dislike Marines of any flavor. I'm just tired of seeing them and tired of playing against them. Three out of four of my regular opponents play Marines of one flavor or another. It just gets old. And yet, here I am, finishing up my Marine army...

Blood angels annoy me because oh mephiston and FNP

Meph is OP but over priced too, so I suppose hes alright, but if your not kitted to kill him we will walk all over your list (40 lasgun shots do nothing to him)

FNP is only annoying coz A) 65 points per squad? CHEAP! (for space marines) and it ruins my lasgun kill ratio

OOH 4 space marine kills with 100 lasshots! oh wait only 2.

Just for the fact that 80% of players play them. It gets old real fast.

A bit hypocritical, since I played them for years, but Space Marines. Anything wrapped in a 3+ save. It gets so tedious when you need to rely on special and heavy weapons to get anywhere.

I hate Guard and Space Wolves with a equal fury that of an angry Norse god, but since I have to pick one, I have to go with Guard. I hate the hundred pie plates they can throw out. I hate they have a strength 10 large blast weapon. I hate how even the artillery have heavy bolters on the front. I hate how their troops have free Sargents. I hate that they have a vehicle that destroys skimmers and bike units when none one else does. I hate suicide melta squads, I hate Chimeras, I hate they can screw with your infiltrating units, I hate they can out swarm 'Nids and Orks, I hate how almost everything is under priced, I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE GUARD!

Wow, Marines, Wolves and IG?

I actually like playing all of those. For me it was a Tie between Demons and Sisters. Both of which have unique cosmic special rules that break the core game worse than anyone else.

(Though I do completely hate IG Blobbing and Orders for the same reasons)

I picked Wyche Hunters because I can't stand the faith point shenanigans and the codex was completely written for a different version of the rules and many of the powers are grossly different now, like the Book of ignore morale modifiers in hand to hand, or D6 AP1 guns, or rallying under 50% automatically, or custom hit and run rules, instant rending. The whole army is an abomination of unique special rules.

Faith points are a stupid concept, Eldar Guardains would be great with all those spontaneous abilities to fit any situation.
