I dunno if it would. I mean it wasn't just Loken fighting, there were hundreds of loyalists fighting. Tarvits died and Torgaddon, they were just as loyal as Loken.

Tarvitz Didnt die. all we know is him,Rylanor and the survivng loyalist emperors children were making for that underground hanger nothing has ever been said past that.

He could of been pulled back out by Lipus who requested to go scout for him and he could of brought him back to the apothecary and they could of helped him out alot.

If Loken is alive then he'll probably be the one to lower the shields on Horus' battle barge. Being able to 'blend' in with his fellows (thanks to his armour and all)

would be a valid point except Horus lowered the vengful spirits shields on purpose because he was oh so very cocky

That would be sweet.
Horus: "Ha ha! Im about to win!"
Computer: "Void shields deactivated. Teleport signals detected."
Horus: "Whaa...?"
CSM at computer turns and removes his helmet saying something like: "My name is Garviel Loken. Commander of the 10th Company. Loyal servant to the true Emperor. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next."

That pretty much sums up how I feel. Although, if he must be brought back, Abnett would be the man to do it.
