That's a good question.

I on the other hand think that there are never enough polls. Welcome, new posters. Enjoy yourselves!

Pretty much all the Poll threads are like that.

There are new posters since the last poll, so it's results are invalid.

Exactly and they're pretty good for getting discussions going usually.

I'm suprised the Craftworld Eldar are ranked so low. I thought they were a pretty popular army.

I collect CSM and Orks

I dont plan on starting space marines, becuase collecting both SM and CSM would be redundant.

Maybe ill start tyranids as my next army.

once i have 2K points of orks and CSM

The majority is space marine. I do have a battleforce of eldar waiting to be painted and plans for more units for that army as well as starting a Imperial Guard, Dark Eldar, Tyranids, Chaos Space marine, and 2 other SM chapters! ...sigh....ive got a long way to go

4250 points of Blood Angels goodness, sweet and silky W12-L6-D4
1000 points of Teil-Shan (my own scheme) Eldar Craftworld in progress
800 points of unassembled Urban themed Imperial Guard
650 points of my do-it-yourself Tempest Guard
675 points of Commoraghs finest!

I play IG, and plan on starting a Demons army soon and in the far future possibly starting tau or SM (or DH, if the new codex is good and they get plastic GK).

Just ignore this poll, it's one of the worst put together polls I've seen. Hell it actually misses some options.

Seriously, where the "H-E-double hockey stick" are my daemons in this poll?! They were the start of 40k for me! I could click on my eldar, chaos marines and space marines...but no daemons.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

SM followed by IG? About what I expected. Can't say I would've guessed that Orks and CSM would be neck and neck for 3rd, but I'm not terribly surprised.

On another note, maybe someone accustomed to using the search function and analyzing basic statistics (and who isn't as lazy as I am) should make another thread, tracking these polls over time. Seems these polls will never end (the new users point is valid, but it seems like a new poll crops up as soon as the last one falls off the front page), so we might as well get some interesting data on popularity trends and the probable correlation with codex updates and new model releases.

I really wouldn't worry about it, dude.

The poll is fine. Abstaining from voting and writing in your answer is just as good, considering no one is going to lose limbs or large amounts of money based on your poll results.
