The problem with the loyalist chapters using can simply be boiled down to space marines don't fit easily in stuff made for normal people and there are very few normal sized people in there ranks to pilot said machines.

true but normal humans can still be enhanced once they are too old to be engineered into true astartes, it could be possible that a failed aspirant into the chapter is kept on as a menial, in this case driving said baneblade?

its possible but highly unlikely not to mention they wouldn't be carrying around ammo and supply's for guard vehicles.
Also why bother with keeping chapter superheavys, For marines its easier just to order the lesser forces to do there bidding.

If the army needs an air strike on a position and there AH-64 helos cant do the job they call the Air Force
If the Air Force needs to secure an air field they call the Army.

It varies from chapter to chapter. Dark Angels have explicitly stated they build their Servitors out of failed initiates.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

In game turns it is just a baneblade with BS 4 and costs 600 points.

If you want to use it as a fellblade you could paint it in the Crimson Fists chapter colours saying it was on permenant reassginment from the Imperial Fists.

IIRC in the tale of 4 gamers, the guy who collected Crimson Fists had the them get a baneblade off a IG armoud regiment. so if fluff nazis have a go at you just tell to check out the apocalyse game from a tale of 4 gamers.

IMHO I think you should paint it in the Crimson Fists colours just to keep it all together instead of saying XXX armoured regiment has let the Crimson Fists borrow a baneblade

Actually, there is a picture of one being used in the Collected Visions artbook on page 94.
