I don't know if you'd be willing to do this, Leo_the_Rat, but it might be a good idea to gather all of the people's information who are waiting on lukesdabest to send items- which seems to be yourself, WillBRags, and dahli.llama- and to pass this on to his mother (maybe through email if she uses it) as to what each of you is owed and your addresses.

Just a thought, I don't know how easy she was to work with since she's probably not familiar with what models are what, but this is a great sign as far as getting things resolved. Keep us posted...

Addendum: 18:35 I have received confirmation that lukesdabest's mother has indeed sent me my package. I hope the others get their situations resolved as well.

However, all other things being equal a person should never have to rely on a parent to get the deal done. I would reccomend against anyone trading with lukesdabest without him shipping first.

Roger that. He actually PM'd me to see if I "had his info". It is a bit disconcerting that he isn't adding his voice here but is continuing to solicit trades.

BUT I wouldn't deal with him, if I were anyone...if you have to deal with his mother to get your stuff...it sucks that we have to do this

But yes this is an extremely quick way to resolve your trading problems, my package is in my city now, so I'll probably get it delivered monday, so this is a done deal for me...but still this is not the way to go about dealing with people....with having to go through their parents

So I would suggest not dealing with this person considering what he's doing to the 3-4 other people on here in this thread and the people that have pmed me about this

I got my stuff today thanks to his mother. It's interesting that I still would have had a minor problem with him anyway. He was supposed to send me 10 painted bloodletters. My package contained 5 complete bloodletters 3 without heads and 2 completely unassembled ones. He did throw in some heads so that I can finish the 3 but he didn't put in any square bases for the 2 unassemble ones. On a side note he sent me a bunch of 25mm round bases. Do the bloodletters go on 25mm or do I need to move them to another size? Anyway I'm glad to have this overwith. Best of luck to Dahli and Willy, I hope you at least get what you were supposed to get.

lol I got my stuff today as well...when he said they were base coated white, he didn't mention that they were basecoated over a red paintjob....not I gotta figure out a way to strip them so they can be salvaged...what a world what a world

Bloodletters are troops so they only go on 25mm bases as for WillyBRags not sure what you got but if it's metal let em sit in acetone and that'll strip the paint if it's plastic then you'll have to use either simple green or brake fluid to get all both layers.

yea gonna go buy some brake fluid....that's what my father told me to use too, funny thing though...he doesn't do minis, but he does alotta car stuff....I love my old man....and now I'm off to the after hours clinic, see if I can get something to kill off this damn fever lol

I'm in a similar boat, I sent him a block of 28 Metal Daemonettes, but he claimed that he's been having computer problems, and said that he's sent my stuff out now... time will tell I guess.

Jerhien, I wouldn't take that chance. Leo_the_Rat has been very willing to supply contact information for lukesdabest; I would PM him to get lukedabest's phone number, talk to his mother, and make sure that things are in fact being resolved.

It seems to be the only way to get this user to cooperate...

Well finally heard from him today after contacting his mom and he said he wasnt going to be sending anything in his trade, I said after all this and all the waiting nothing ? he said hey sometimes life throws you a curve ball. This was after I contacted his mother.

this guy is a joke, he enquired about buying some TK stuff from, i kept it for him, lost couple of offers on it as I said "its pending", then he wanted something else, apparently waiting for money to clear in his paypal. It took about 1.5 months for which time I still kept models for him.. at the eend he just went all quiet... I would avoid at any cost!
