Cant I just do a challenge match the Friday before?

I'd also recommend the sushiplace that is right in kingston as a great place for all you can eat sushi. Its like $20 for all you can eat of good stuff....

How many Dakka faces are going?

As all of you know,

The Colonial GT has added 40k to the Tournament. If you would like, you may submit photos of your 40k armies or figures to the slide show on the web site.

I would ask that the photos be in good taste, and unless you are doing a major scuplting job and want to show off the major work involved, that the models be fully painted.

Thank you,

MM

I'm just curious if anyone is flying and what airport they are flying into. I can't seem to find any flights into the local area (Princeton or Trenton). I keep getting redirected to Philidelphia or Newark.

Do I look like a guy with a plan?

you should fly into newark and then take the train down. Do you need a ride in from the train station? the closest would be Princeton junction, but New Brunswick is also good.

Had not even thought about trains. I'll put in some research but perhaps you can give me some ball park figures for ticket cost? I'm trying to budget money and figure out my training schedule and THEN i get to try and convince the wife to let me do it all lol.

just checked NJ transit, should be 16.25 adult one way from Newark airport to Princeton junction friday the 8th. then you can grab a cab from there or grab a ride from someone. depending on what time you are going, i work next to Princeton junction and the hotel is on my way home

That is correct, one ticket for the Colonial will be passed out at this years Adepticon, and I will be giving one out for next years Adeptiocon.

Greetings all!

I hope all of you have had as much fun as I have digging myself out of all this snow! This is a friendly reminder that there are still slots left for both 40k and WHFB for the 2011 Colonial GT! The Master List is located on the forums in the General Discussions area. If you have registered for the Colonial, this does not mean that you have a secure slot for the event, you must prepay to have your name added to the Master List. Whomever prepays first will been added to the list, the date of registration will have no bearing on availability. Registration and payment before the March 12th deadline will ensure the $10.00 off the standard ticket price of $90.00.

Here are the two options of payment for the event:

"For PayPal use: thecolonialgt@gmail.com
For snail mail please send checks payable to: The Colonial GT, LLC. 492 Sycamore St. Rahway, NJ 07065."

See you at the Colonial GT!

I don't think I'm going to have my army painted up in time... will be watching with interest either way, though. If I don't make it this year, I definitely will next year... this is too close to me and to awesome sounding to pass up.

Me & 3 mates are hoping to sign up. Are all the 40k spots taken?

We all attend the same university and will be driving up to Princeton.

Maryland, so anything in PA / Northern Virginia / NJ gets my full attention! The only reason I wouldn't come to this is my progress in painting the army, which probably won't be done until the summer :-/

Yes, there should be spots still available, though I know theres some folks who's names aren't on the list yet.

As for the 40K missions, we'll have a bunch of them posted so folks can try them out and give feedback. We'll then choose 5 from that lot for the actual GT.

We're typically used to 40 people for out RTTs every month (we had 42 last month) so we have some pretty awesome terrain for alot of tables.
It's our job to make sure you all have a great time at Chris's Colonial

Some extra terrain my buddy Nick and I built and painted for the GT. It'll help fill a few extra tables. (Mike D. has most of the other terrain not pictured at the store, it's all painted by the way Chris).

This is some of the terrain that will be at the tournament used in a game at my FLGS today!
