This is what I use as well, but I follow with another badab black, then chainmail, then black, then chainmail....but its too time consuming. Ugh.

Hmm, maybe it is the lighting that makes yours look darker then. What are youusing for the Gold?



My full process is black spray, Bolgun Metal, 50/50 Badab Black and Devlan Mud Wash. I use Shining Gold for the Trim.

The gold is done from Tin Bitz up to Shining Gold, Gryphonne Sepia in the recesses, then Burnished Gold highlights. It's a very warm gold.
