The number one visual game design supplement is Sculpey. Cheap and let's you give the crude impression of the visuals. If you want better models later, you can make the frames of Sculpey and use GS to touch it up without much trouble. I'd worry about the mechanics first though. If the game isn't fun, it's pointless. I'd also focus on originality in game design rather than just creating another skirmish battle. Find some way to really make it hook. If people were to hear a description of your game in two sentences, how many things make them say "that sounds cool" other than the fluff?

Also, be sure to include the pop faction. They travel in 5s and 1s

Thanks

Though the Hexigonal (6 sides, if I am getting that wrong) bases are extremely important to one of my game mechanics (seeing a target not right in front of you).

Though again, if someone already beat me to it, I have another idea I am churning out here in a bit.

I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.

Hexigonal base, Iron Wind Metals has some. There meant for Battletech but should work.

This idea dose remind my of a army I want to do some day based on the game Brutal Legend.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.
