i dont see the point of giving him iridium armor, stimpacks, and a shield gen if he's just gonna DS to within 12/6" of a tank, pop it open, and then get mauled by whatever's in it.

I don't see the point in Stimms, Iridium armor, or Shield gens period. About 40-50 points that can be spent elsewhere.
