That just looks like a below average sized horse to me. I'm 6'0" and most horses I've ridden are considerably taller. We're talking about War Horses here, not farm ponies.

*shrugs* It's an average sized quarter horse from what I've seen. Heck, most of the women around here are taller than their horses at the shoulder and nearly as tall at head level, and it's not like they're small for their breed or anything. Same goes for the local Arabians (more so, even), which are really closer to a historical horse archer's breed anyhow.

Of course, we're still talking about an elf archer chick riding an imaginary elk-analogue, not a 14th century knight riding a Friesian.

Isn't it an Elk? (which okay, iis technically one of the largest subspecies of deer)

They stand on average 1.3 Meters at the shoulder. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elk)

Nope. Technically, we're talking about blighted Ulk. No, that's not misspelled.

Of course, assuming it's identical to an elk (barring the fact that it's got scales under the fur, doesn't need eyes to see and eats human flesh), it'd be about to scale still, given that IK elves are a fair bit taller than humans anyway.

Blighted reindeer, what a beautiful sight.

Next year I want a blighted polar bear. Make it happen, Privateer Press!

The cloak does have giant metal hooked-blades on the hem of it, I'm guessing it would require a pretty strong wind to make it "flutter"...

Thats why I sugested to sculpt a new cape without them... I can forgive things making no sense if they are cool to paint and add a extra look to a miniature, but when No sense and not cool look are merged you need to change it.

I think her face isn't that bad, but is just painted like a man's face. As any trip to a good tranny review will demonstrate quite unnervingly, the differences between male and female facial features has a lot more to do with coloring and softness than bone structure.

Slap some blue eye shadow and blood red lipstick on her and after a few shots most people would take her home

I am in the same boat as Navarro (though after the tanny comment he might wish I wasn't ) as to the cape though. It throws off one's sense of how fast she is moving when viewed with the hair, and kind of looks silly and impractical to boot. Much better to have a flowing, highly decorated cloak than something more appropriate on a hulking heavily armored warrior.

Still, a nifty model. I am trying to decide how I could cut her up and put her in my fridge... er use her in my WoC army. Yea, that.

Aaaand mission accomplished!

Sort of missed the joke there about transvestites, didn't you :-P

Seriously though, give that to a good painter who doesn't want to make her face all blue and it will look at lot more feminine. I can see what the painter was going for, super tough woman, and see how he made her look like a dude.
