And inexplicably large bow is inexplicably large.

Well, PP woman can't have giant shoulders, arms and hands like the men, so they need to compensate with really long weapons, you see?

Hummmm change the bow and the ulk knees and you have a good mini... and put the cape with some movement like it has some wind on it.

Her hair says wind blowing through it. General pose and look of that really thick cloak says trotting.

She (he?) looks like her body is inexplicably levitating off the saddle by a little bit.

Yeah the hair is really good and some bending on that metal cloak will change a lot the miniature appeal... you could even scrap the cape and sculpt one in GS witout the metal tips.

Actually one of the better elf faces PP has done outside of the Retribution. Little surprised she's not at a gallop given that she's Light Cav, but looks pretty good I think.

She's standing in her stirrups, as many horse archers used to. (mongols for example)

So kudos to the sculpters for that.

You know the sad thing is this is most certainly one of their best elven faces ever... But they put it on the wrong body. Total manface. I suppose one could remove the head to sub in one that actually looks female, and then you have a great looking male elf head to use...

Lol, I was trying to find a picture of a horse or reindeer to show.

It seems a little too low, but that might be the angle.

I like the mount, just not the legs as others have said.
As for the rider...it is meh.
Not digging the cloak at this angle, in addition the torso to legs area looks.....wonky.

The bow looks fine for a machine gun.
I think it's just the pose... I really liked the concept art.

Technically, that's not the knee. The knee is one joint up on horses (and every other quadruped). The joint you're looking at is actually the ankle, with the hooves formed by the toes.

The pose of the elf looks like it is about to draw the bow and take aim...a good gallop pose on the mount and some wind in the hair/clothing sculpting would have made this mini sweet.

The bit you've circled is the ankle. Most animals walk on their toes.

Humans are a bit weird with our flat feet.

The cloak does have giant metal hooked-blades on the hem of it, I'm guessing it would require a pretty strong wind to make it "flutter"...

I like how they made the cloaks end bits so that when she rides they will constantly collide into the back of her leg.

She is too big when compared to her mount IMO. She's taller than the Elk she's riding. Look at pictures of people next to horses, most horses capable of transporting humans long distances are significantly taller (to the top of the head, not the back).

I think you've been looking at too many jockeys...
